CALL FOR ENTRY
AQU MEMBER EXHIBIT
“FIBER FINESSE”
AQU is pleased to announce that we have accepted an invitation to do an AQU Member Exhibit at the Coco Gallery in Estero. Our artwork will be on display from January 4 to January 25, 2023. The theme for the exhibit is “Fiber Finesse.”
KEY DATES
Entry Form registration and payment opens online: November
Entry Form close: End of Day December 21, 2022 or special arrangement
Artwork take-in: By December 21, 2022 or special arrangement
Artwork hanging at Coco Gallery: January 4, 2023
Exhibit opens: January 4, 2023
Exhibit closes: January 25, 2023
Artwork takedown and pick-up at Coco Gallery: January 25, 2023
If you are not able to pick up your artwork at the Gallery, make alternative arrangements with the Exhibit Committee.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS & ELEGILIBILTY
AQU Members must be in good standing with dues paid in full at time of entry as well as during the show
Entry fee $20.00 for 3 pieces.
Max is 6 pieces per person ($40.00 fee).
Pieces must have been completed within the past 3 years
Artwork must be original and produced by the individual.
Pieces created in workshops or classes are not eligible.
Coco Gallery requires all pieces to be for sale.
No artwork may be removed, even if sold, for the duration of the exhibit
ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS
Maximum size: 32” wide
Framed, stretched, free-standing and 3D work may be submitted as well as “soft” art (i.e. quilts)
All artwork must be ready to hang; no saw tooth hangers, no exposed wires or staples
Do provide the necessary hanging hardware for soft art quilts (i.e. pole or flat bar)
Artwork must be clean; dirty or damaged or otherwise unpresentable pieces will not be accepted

- Show dates March 3 & 4, 2023 | 9:00 - 4:00
- Take-down March 4 at 4:00
- January 7 - in person art submission at the Membership Meeting
- February 11 - in person art submission at the Membership Meeting
- February 11 - online registration payment is due
- If you cannot drop off your artwork at a Membership Meeting please contact jnjmckay@gmail.com to make arrangements
- Artwork return March 11 at the Membership meeting or by special arrangement

- New Hope Ministries, 7675 Davis Blvd, Naples FL
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
- Set-up and/or take-down
- Manning the booth, flexible hours

NOTES:
- Registration fee payable online: $20.00 for 3 pieces
- The booth is 10' x 12' and draped with black curtains
- Max artwork size is 24" wide by 36" high
- Artwork must be ready to hang (art is hung on black curtains in this show)
- Framed artwork must have a wire
- We may not sell pieces during the Naples Exhibit
- If you wish to sell your pieces independently, make a note on the entry form (attached)
- Interested buyers will be connected with the artist
