We are a plethora of different Fiber Artists dedicated to nourish and support our creative expression through the exchange of ideas, methods, and techniques with programs, workshops, sharing and collaboration.
We celebrate and expand appreciation for this art form by participating in community and regional exhibits.
We are all about Fiber Design on a surface, creating and experimenting with each others ideas, materials, creative processes, along with support together as a guild.
Processes of stitching, manipulating fibers, burning, printing, weaving, painting, embellishing, weaving, felting and dying.
We offer educational and creative venues throughout the year.
Each meeting consists of our business brief and an artistic program generated by our own members for some creative flow with on hands make and take!

About Us
How We Got Here
Official inaugural meeting was in MARCH 2004 at ACT Gallery by Carol Holsopple, with 19 other art quilters including Faith Pfalz, and Karen Stockwell. Art Quilters Unlimited was created. Through the many years of steady growth and recognition in the community. May of 2008 the first voting of Bylaws', preceding in 2011 was the "Journey 2011 Quilt Show, then in 2017 the start of Exhibiting and the group has grown into Fiber Art. AQU is a group of artists, working side-by-side in a friendly environment that encourages and inspires artistic growth. We believe everyone has an artist inside them, looking to express those emotions and passions. Thanks to AQU for helping us find our artistic voices. Each and every one of our members have had experience exhibiting, creating in a studio and in the classroom. Many of our members teach classes abroad sharing great art techniques, but also great teaching techniques too. With the help of our Educational programs yearly membership has grown and strengthen our artistic boundaries.
